Seriously, sorry about that absurd headline. I have no news to share about Harry Styles or anything he said. But I do have actual news for a change and I was afraid if you saw the word “preorder” in your inbox you’d run for cover. Who would blame you?

It’s A Love Story is a Hall of Fame Library Reads Pick, an honor that I hold close to my heart because librarians know what’s up. Of all the affirmations I long for, this is the one that makes me feel like my book’s going to be okay.
Summer Romance lost to Emily Henry in the
Final Four showdown, and I couldn’t feel cooler about it. She beat me last year in the final, and I hope she beats me next year. Keep it coming , I’m just glad to be in the room.

I’m going on a GREAT tour starting May 27, and all those details are coming soon. Maybe next week, please stay tuned. It’s going to be 11 days, all over the US with one suitcase, one pair of shoes and questionable number of dresses.
That’s all I’ve got. My oldest son came to visit for Easter and it was the first time I’d had a weekend with just him since his brother was born 24 years ago. How is that possible? I’ll be celebrating the next of the holy holidays, Independent Bookstore Day, on April 26 at my local Athena Books in Old Greenwich, CT. I’ll be signing from 5-6pm if you’re in the area. I’d love to see you!
Then I’m headed out on the most heavenly writing retreat on April 27. I have a cabin in the woods and they’re delivering breakfast and lunch to my door. Cocktails are at 6, yoga is optional. Tom thinks I’m going to get murdered, but honestly what a way to go!
