You are my favoUrite for this nice shout out! And please stop with the eggs. I want you to be in good health next week. Also, since my book is your first mentioned, and I also adored the second, Far and Away, I now must read the third!

Just started It’s A Love Story yesterday. So far, so perfect. Airport hack: Paleo Valley beef sticks for the win. Delicious and you don’t have to be in isolation to eat them like with the hard boiled eggs.

I was sad to miss your visit to Dallas, but I did pick up your new book last week in NYC @ Posman Chelsea Market as my travel souvenir. I’m currently traveling in Huntsville, AL and I can attest that the cute downtown bookstore A Snail in the Wall is featuring your book. Coincidentally, I had two hard boiled eggs this morning at the hotel.

eating hb eggs in the airport is a lot like tuna salad in the airport: fully permissible when done in the most remote corners with no one in a 15 foot radius.

Precisely. Desperate times call for desperate measures, but you need to respect people’s rights

Annabel,

No travel hacks here- but I wondered whether you and Tara were overselling Dan at the QRB event Friday. I mean, a guy named Dan?! I just finished It’s a love story last night. You were not overselling. What a dreamboat. Truly. This book was funny and heartfelt and I just loved it. Thank you for writing stories and characters I love. Please come back to Quail Ridge Books next year!

The first glimpse of his dreaminess is the string bracelet. Best of luck on the rest of your tour and I CANNOT wait to read about Dolly in 2026.
